I-PAC

I-PAC was created by Wenco in 2019, as a sister company to EPT, with the goal of developing and manufacturing food packaging using injection technology. Nestlé and Quillayes are among the company’s current clients.

I-PAC’s primary differentiating feature is found in its IML technology, an acronym for in-mold labeling, whereby the container can be labeled directly in the mold it is produced in, in such a way that everything is melted into a single piece of the same material. With this process, the labeling features are not damaged by humidity, low temperatures, or during marketing of the product.

I-PAC manufactures containers in different shapes and sizes, all decorated using IML technology, and has managed to integrate a security seal and airtight lid into the containers’ design thus protecting and preserving the food item. The security seal and airtight lid make the aluminum or plastic seal that this type of packaging required in the past unnecessary. This simplifies the packaging process and, at the same time, offers a product that is 100% recyclable because it is made from a mono-material.
