Wenco comprises companies that specialize in developing and manufacturing products that are vital for agriculture, food, chemistry, aquaculture and the home. In addition it has companies engaged in the recycling of plastic products.
Together, these companies operate across dozens of plants located between Medellín, Colombia, and Punta Arenas, Chile, and serve 2,800 businesses in Latin America.
Since 1954, when Wenco built its first plant in a small warehouse in the Franklin neighborhood of Santiago, Chile, the company has acquired a wealth of experience.
That is why Wenco has chosen a strategy that favors the operation of local and highly specialized plants. This allows us to very reliably produce specific items, quickly supply our customers, learn about their business up close and personally, and propose innovations that improve their efficiency and sustainability.
In fact, for decades Wenco has had an engineering and design department focused on constantly improving its products and fueling new developments.
This approach is also why Wenco has made a strong effort to build a team of excellence, whose members are given autonomy to manage their operations and become true experts in each of their customer’s needs.
Whether it is exporting cherries, growing salmon or producing yogurt, at Wenco we know that there is no easy enterprise, which is why we do our very best to make the work of each business that needs us safer and more reliable.
We know that if our clients do well, we will do well too.
